WHAT & WHY
What:
Sustainability means using our resources efficiently. People today
should not be living at the expense of people in other regions of the
world and of future generations.
Why:
Sustainability affects all areas of our lives and economies and is thus a
task for the whole of society. It requires societal development that is
ecologically viable, socially fair and economically efficient. Sustainability
must have a positive “lasting” value.
