We can promote diversity and inclusion at all levels. As an association, for example, I can welcome all people and create an open, respectful training environment. I may not be able to find a practical solution for everything, but I can show a fundamentally open attitude towards all people and communicate this to the outside world on my website, ask people about their needs and thus welcome them into the club and respect their diversity. As a professional association or umbrella organization, I can support my clubs and set a course and think about forms of competition where everyone can participate. We can all take a clear stance against discrimination – and live it when the occasion arises.
