00.00 – 00.20 Welcome
Exercise 2.1: Circle the ball
– Participants look back on the content of the first meeting and are ready to take the next step.
– At the end of the activity, participants remember the content of the previous meeting.
– Participants get into the right atmosphere to start the training.
What do you need?
– A ball
– Enough space to create a circle of participants
What should you do?
– Ask participants to create a circle
– Participants think of one topic that made the most impression during the first meeting
– The ball is thrown around. The person who has the ball describes the chosen topic and throws the ball to the next participant to share his / her topic with the group
– When everyone has had their turn, the ball goes around again and each chooses one word that covers his / her subject
– When everyone has mentioned their chosen word, the participant throwing the ball calls out the word of the participant to whom he / she throws the ball
Trainers advise
– Depending on the available time, you can make the ball go around again. The one who catches the ball drops to the knees/squats and the participants to the right and left of the catcher call out the catcher’s subject as quickly as possible. Whoever calls out the correct subject first ‘wins’ and gets to throw the ball to someone else.
– You can also do this activity with names of participants, to get to know each other in a first meeting.
