00.25 – 00.45 Homework assignment
Participants have evaluated the work of their sport organisation on inclusion of refugees and people with migrant background, by using the Self-Assessment Tool. They have worked out at least one point for improvement to more successfully include newly arrived migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
Self-assessment tool
What do you need?
– Results of the Self-Assessment Tool (Support)
– Plans/ideas of participants on how to more successfully include newly arrived migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in their sport organisation
– Flipchart, whiteboard
– Markers
What should you do?
– All participants take turns ultra-briefly presenting their point for improvement and the solution they have devised for it.
– The trainer writes the problem and the solution both in one word on a flipchart or whiteboard.
– Participants all receive a marker and can then add a total of 5 dots to the best ideas.
– Participants are divided into three groups, who will develop the three best ideas and put them into practice after finishing the Basic Module.
Trainers advice
– The trainer naturally asks how people have experienced completing the self-assessment tool
– Some creativity is expected from the trainer to divide the groups. Depending on the composition of the group, this is more difficult or easier.
– The trainer can also let everyone develop their own idea and implement it at their own organisation, if participants come from all kinds of different organisations.
– Participants receive a certificate when they have completed the assignment and submitted a report.
