What do you need?
– Open space where people can be sat in a semicircle in a large group and can move into smaller groups
–  Flipchart, paper, markers and computer

– Slide 18 – 24

What should you do?
– Split large group into small groups to think about the question where racism/discrimination comes from in society, historically, and worldwide. Name these?
Some answers: Media School, Friends, Family, Community, Experiences, Stereotypes, Prejudice Online, Idea/ideology of ‘race’ supremacy and power, transatlantic enslavement of people, civil rights movement South Africa.
– Come back together and take feedback as a large group, put feedback into categories in the table provided.
– Split the group again into smaller groups or pairs of people to do exploring prejudice activity. Continue with a Photo exercise (slide 31) (find photo’s in ‘instellingen’)

– Ask people in their small groups or pair to discuss and say what the person in the various photos names are, their job, and what country they are from.
– Bring the group back together flipchart answer e.g., list of names, countries, jobs.
– Ask what determined people’s judgment? What was considered when making judgments?
– Put up slide 28 Prejudice definition
