– the PowerPoint presentation or the tailor-made presentation offered
What should you do?
– Welcome everyone
– Present the purpose of the meeting
– Briefly explain the programme
Trainers advice
– Ask the participants whether the programme meets their expectations
– You can ask “What do you expect from this workshop?” and test whether your programme meets expectations. If you have that flexibility, try to meet most expectations.
– But, be honest about which wishes will not be fulfilled in the workshop! Maybe afterwards you can send someone extra information, make an appointment to discuss the topic or refer the person to an expert.
