Trainers advice
– Professor Geert Hofstede defines culture as: The programming of the human mind by which one group of people distinguishes itself from another group. Culture is learned from your environment and is always a shared, collective phenomenon.
– Usually it is very surprising how wonderfully a group of people can describe culture together.
– Keep asking what else is culture? So that you collect as much input on the theme as possible.
– Based on this, you know what knowledge the group already has. As a trainer, you can increase their knowledge and understanding by supplementing it with your own knowledge.
