Going through the steps of behavioural change together in the field of implementation of policies and activities aimed at combating discrimination and racism
What do you need?
– PowerPoint “Behavioral Journey”
– (Colored) prints of the 6 steps
– Travel diary with questions per step
What should you do?
– Show the first sheet of the PowerPoint “Behavioral Journey” describing the 6 steps.
– Place the 6 steps on the floor in the room to go through the behavioral journey together with your team.
– Appoint a tour guide (per team). The others are traveling companions.
– Let the participants know how much time they have per step (max. 5 min. per step).
– Write down answers to the questions per step.
– Write down an important outcome / conclusion in your Travel Diary after each step.
– Evaluate in plenary.
Trainers advice
– The tour guide’s role is to guide the process. This means that the tour leader makes sure that everyone has the floor, that the trip is completed within time and that one important outcome / conclusion is noted for each step.
